Business Development Manager, Lebanon and GCC | Beirut

When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:
 Research organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new
leads, customer needs and potential new markets both local and with the MENA region.


 Research the needs of other companies and learn who makes decisions about purchasing.


 Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.


 Plan and oversee new marketing and PR related initiatives.


 Attend conferences, meetings, and related industry events, when needed.


 Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.


 Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.


When it comes to the challenge of actually selling, other typical duties include:
 Prepare and constantly update PowerPoint presentations.


 Coordinate with the technical team conducting client sales demos.


 Contact and regularly visit clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s
products and maintain a healthy relationship with them.


 Develop quotes, proposals and sales and after sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-
established rules and guidelines.


 Coordinate proper delivery dates and new product implementation requirements with the
technical to ensure on time delivery of products/services.


 Conduct regular interdepartmental meetings with the technical team to ensure client issues
and concerns are properly solved and deadlines are adhered.


 Write reports and provide feedback to upper management about what is and is not working,
customer feedback, product issues, competitors’ status, etc.


 Follow up on invoice issuing and payment collection with clients and report any discrepancy
to the Management.
