Executive Housekeeper | Beirut

La Siesta Hotel & Beach Resort is looking for an Executive Housekeeper to join its team.

As an Executive Housekeeper, you are responsible for overseeing all housekeeping/Laundry operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee housekeeping operations
- Oversee Laundry Operations
- Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities
- Ensure staffing levels cover business demands
- Lead, train and supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons on a floor or designated area to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards
- Ensure ongoing training
- Assess inventory of, assign for cleaning and inspect rooms
- Prepare housekeeper reports
- Verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms
- Monitor work schedules, lost and found program, stock rooms and designated inventories
- Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/ Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas
- Perform Room Attendant and/or Houseperson duties, as needed
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Assist other departments wherever necessary

EXPERIENCE
2 to 4 years’ experience in the same capacity preferably in a 5 stars’ hotel

REQUIREMENTS
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- A successful track record of managing a large team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent grooming standards
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Proficiency, at an intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, budget management, and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Familiar with pms System
