Director of Sales & Marketing - 5 star Hotel in Beirut | Beirut

- To monitor sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities as necessary to achieve plan goals.

- To plan, establish goals, and administer Outbound Sales Offices function to deliver qualified leads and service existing accounts.

- To develop active communication and close rapport with local authorities such as Tourism board, convention bureau, Airlines, and other sources of sales information and support.

- To develop annual sales department budget and execute the sales programs and activities.

- To identify sources of group business for the hotel and establish solicitation programs to maximize sales.

- To supervise and monitor the compilation of accurate account information and ensure this information is kept up to date.

- To analyze and assess sales production vs.

targets and take necessary measures and actions.

- To recruit, select, train and motivate Sales Department personnel to realize their potential and to develop individuals for advancement .

- To ensure understanding of position requirements, goals and standards of performance of the sales department.

- To conduct yearly sales team appraisals and ongoing evaluations, coaching and counseling.

- To be active member of the marketing plan committee.

- To be actively involved in the execution of the marketing plans.

- To coordinate group room forecasts with the events management and reservations department so as to help hotel achieve maximum capacity and venue use.

- To assess group business to maximize contribution from available public space, generating room revenues whilst achieving banqueting budgets.

- To coordinate communication between Sales Department and operating departments of the hotel.

- To update property operational departments to ensure awareness of sales activities and actions.

- To maintain timely and responsive communication with accounts and prospects.
