JOB OPPORTUNITY:
A Data Engineer/ Computer Science/ Information Systems Applicant is needed for an interesting job opening.


Applicants will need to know how to set up and operate on AWS cloud services alongside integrating two web-coding skills (Nodejs & React) through the work process.


Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience operating on AWS (or any experience with “Big Data” technologies/ tools)
• Experience or willingness to learn JavaScript/ Scala/ Spark/ Kafka and related technologies (if not already known)
• Experience using Git
• Able to quickly and effectively read code using various web-coding skills
• Experience working with open-source products
• Good understanding of algorithms and data structure
• Ability to separate hype from reality
• Any experience with JavaScript client and Server-side technologies is a plus

Responsibilities:
• Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.


• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.


• Migrate our infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable one.


• Set up a monitoring stack.


• Define service capacity planning strategies.


• Implement the application’s CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.


• Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or similar.
