GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
Contribution to the optimal economic success of the hotel with rational use of operating resources.

Generate revenue by attracting customers from around the world to be guests at their establishment.


Meeting with clients and arranging business deals.



SCOPE, RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY TASKS

• Maintaining a healthy relationship with existing customers while opening up fresh customers.



• Providing sales and administrative support involving efficient handling of top and confidential agreements.



• Communicating with regional sales team for status of order and position of sales.



• Providing inputs and ideas into marketing enterprises and subsequently promote them and monitor responses.



• Preparing monthly, weekly or daily sales analysis.



• Preparing proposals, agreements, sales reports, and presentations.



• Updating the status of sales order in the database or computer.



• Collecting, analyzing, evaluating and accounting the information in order to increase productivity of sales.



• Monitoring the trends and evaluating the performance assessed against monthly sales goals.



• Assisting in the implementation of sales strategy.



• Monitoring the offers, options and cancellations for repeat bookings for groups

• Carry out sales negotiations within the framework put by the hotel

• Managing contacts with regular organization of the market and competitors.



• Organize a complete information to existing and potential customers

• Have a good and permanent observation of the market and competitors

• In-house promotion and tours of the house

• Co-ordination of the hotel’s sales activities with the aim of optimal room occupancy and high accommodation and F&B sales and other revenues.




• Development, design and calculation of attractive offers for individual customers travel agents and companies.



• Implements sales promotion actions in-house, locally, regionally.



• Planning, co-ordination and implementing of all sales trips.



• Represents the hotel at national and international specialist trade fairs and workshops.



• Regular visits and agreements with large and prestigious customers, identification of potential new accounts and assuring the corresponding sales activities to win these customers.


• Organization and management of promotions, site inspections and fam trips.



• Ensures permanent observation of the market and competitors, involvement in drawing up analyses of competitors and statistics.


• Planning, organization of written, telephone and personal contacts with customers and supervision of these contacts
• New acquisition of customers in all segments

• Organize comprehensive information to existing and potential customers as regards the product range offered by the hotel, with the aid of the relevant sales resources and sales channels
• Preparation and drawing up of company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and price conditions


GENERAL PREREQUISITES

• Able to easily and concisely communicate in English and French Language [both verbally and written]

• Leadership skills, a proven sales record, and presentation experience help hotel sales managers to succeed in this stressful career.


• Min Experience of 3 years in same position in 4/5* Lebanese Hotels

• Sales knowledge in Lebanese Market.


• Comply with all company policies.



• Adhere to and implement all Standard Operating Policies and procedures as set by Management.



• The holder of this statement can be asked to take on other tasks on addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.
